Is there anyway to get the newest leaked release with a yellow status bar?

YUP, if you are handy with ninjamorph, it will be a 5 minute ordeal.

do you have access to photshop or paint or something.
all you have to do is create a 478x38 image and "paint" it the yellow color you want. name the file status_bar_background.png and move it to your phones SD card.

open NinjaMorph and start a new project, navigate to SYSTEM/APP/ systemUI.apk

once it extracts the files, replace like you normally would the status_bar_background.9.png with the new one on your SD card. finish project, DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT zipalign the apk when finished. when it tells you to reboot, it will probably do some Force Closes over and over, just pull the battery, and reboot the device and it should be there.

keep in mind, anything that is a light color on the status bar will be hard to see so you may want to change some other images as well.

i also attached a bright yellow status bar for you to use. just download with the phones browser, and swap it in there with NM.
