Gingerbread update announced!

HTC confirmed on Twitter today that the OTA Gingerbread update fit the Thunderbolt will be pushed in the next few days! Finally!

They confirmed it on Facebook to when they replied to my post. They said gingerbread is still on schedule for the end of this month...only a few more days

It has Sense 2.1, they took some features from Sense 3.0 and put them into 2.0.

Sense 2.1 has the carousel UI right? I'm on liquid sense which I think its 2.1 and it has it.

I believe so and while I havent tried the release, I have not heard of anyone saying anything about 3.5 being in there. I am running BAMF Forever, it is Sense 3.0 and I love it.

Sense 2.1 should not have the carousel. I don't think that was incorporated into the upcoming tbolt update.

I'm definitely a fan of sense 3.5! Love the new quick launch screen.
