Gingerbread Breaks LEDs

They work fine. If the screen is off when a message comes in the led will activate, but will turn off when you turn the screen on - not when you actually check the message. The led won't activate if the screen is on when the message comes in. The reason for this makes sense - if you're using the phone you should be aware there's a pending message.

Mine doesn't work ever. When the screen is off, I get a message, don't touch the phone, it goes back to sleep, and the light never comes on. The strange thing is, the light never worked for calendar notifications, but now it does, but not for anything else. Strange.

No LEDs here either, On, Off, whatever. I've rebooted, pulled the battery, installed and uninstalled 2 different LED Notifier apps, checked and unchecked factory notification settings and NOTHING. Every now and then I see a brief, random faint white light flash up there.
I have a job where my phone must be on silent and I rely on the LED notification light so I don't have to turn the phone on everytime I'm away from it. This is infuriating!
If anyone figures this out, or has other suggestions, I'd LOVE to hear them!!
I'm seeing this LED problem on all the message boards, not a small issue...

I imagine there will be an update at some point when they finally figure out how to make the LED work on GB. But.. until then, use an app called Light Flow.
