Gingerbread anc LED light

Is anyone else having an issue with the LED notification light on the leaked GB? I know you can disable the screen popping on when you get a text which is somewhat of a fix, but I used to have both the LED and screen turn on and now it won't work. Thanks for any help.

not sure about the screen on thing, but light flow from the market works great on my phone.
