Giefroot Tool Allows You To Easily Root Your Xperia Z3 and Compact Z3

The Xperia Z3 is one of the best Android devices around. Sony has been one of the best OEMs in Android as far as developer friendliness is concerned. Their devices have been unlockable at release for the most part, and the skin overlay has been one of the closest to AOSP with the addition of a few Sony branded apps. The phone comes loaded with a 1080p screen, quad core processor clocked at 2.5GHz, an industry leading 3GB of Ram, and 32GB of internal storage. This is really one beast of a phone. Now you can root it easily with the Giefroot Tool.

The tool works for both the Z3 and Compact Z3. You will need to enable usb debugging on your phone and set your display timeout to atleast 5 minutes. Allow "mock locations" under developer options. You can only run this on a Windows PC and will need to have all the usb drivers installed. To run the tool simply download it, extract it and double click the .bat file. According to the dev that created this, no. The Z3V or the T-Mobile D6616 is not vulnerable ... not yet at least.
