Getting Razr to delete email from phone when downloaded to laptop

On my old Droid, when I downloaded email to my laptop, the messages were deleted from my phone. Is there a way to set this up on the Razr? (I know how to do the reverse -- set it so if I delete a message on my phone it gets deleted from the server...but that's the opposite of what I want...)
