Getting a Droid X

Hi, I'm new here and I'm gonna be getting a smartphone soon. I've found websites like Dell, Wirefly, and Amazon giving the Droid X for free with a 2 year contract extension and I want to take advantage of this deal, but it's only for primary lines on family plans and my mom's the primary line and we're both eligible for upgrades. My question is can my mom order the phone off of one of those websites so we can get it for free and then transfer it to my line? If so, would there be any additional fees? Here are the websites:
DROID X by Motorola for Verizon Wireless - Wirefly.com
DROID X by Motorola for Verizon Wireless - Dell Mobility Store
AmazonWireless: Motorola DROID X Android Phone (Verizon Wireless)
