Get Rid of Notification Bar on Lock Screen

Is there any way to get rid of the notification bar on the lock screen? My home screen setup has notification bar disabled through Launcher Pro, but doesn't work on the lock screen. I just think it looks messy with two clock on the lock screen. If not possible, is there any way to make the notification bar transparent (I can live with this alternative)? Thanks in advance.

I want to say WidgetLocker allows you to do this as well as customize the hell out of the lock screen...

Thanks Cheeks. Anyone have experience with Widget Locker? I was going to download it from the Market, but saw comments about it not working well with Launcher Pro? Don't want to spend the cash if it's going to screw up the phone.

I used it for just under a day and thought it was good, but I think I had some sort of issue with the volume rocker not working with it. Returned it. Although someone said that the rocker should work fine, I might give it another go. Other than that, it worked good with LauncherPro.
