Gameboid refuses to install

I see some posts floating around about some guys here using and enjoying gameboid. I went over to android market, found the app, entered my credit card details, but just after the download finished, I keep getting an error something along the lines of "app not signed properly".

Am I the only person who has this problem?

My R800i isn't rooted, but AFAIK this phone model is skinned by Sony Ericsson. So if it is a theme related issue, maybe that's it. Is there any Xperia Play owners on here who managed to get it installed?
