Well if your plans are on lg their update suck unless your rooting. Samsung update sure isn't great after it last update cycle with mess stability to upgrade. Like they did with s2 with android 4.1.2 os and 4.3 os with galaxy s3

Mot and Verizon updates are horrid...but i like my phone and am not a fan of Samsung...but at this point its looking like a better option than what i have beeen dealing with...im waiting on the G3 before i make any decsions though

i didnt say i was getting an lg i said i was waiting til it comes out before i make a choice...and their updates cant be any worse than moto's

and being rooted isnt the issue...even with root moto isnt good about updates with verizon

They yet to update their optimus g pro and g haven't received any update since 4.1.2 is original 4.0.4 is

Lg g2 won't pass 4.4 os

Actually they are even if they are late.
at least with Motorola just like Samsung you get three update cycle.

and being rooted isnt the issue...even with root moto isnt good about updates with verizon

Razr HD /maxx hd and razr m. Along with atrix hd to 4.0.4 is to 4.1 is 1 update.

Motorola opted to skip 4.2 os and 4.3 os which would be 2 and 3 to go for kitkit is which will be updated based on speculation on late may of June . as most .

It happening my friend. It wasn't for me messing my droid RAZR m on rom. I would still be on it was fast phone and snappiest phone I had. Since the moto x is even snappier.

And Verizon have the kitkit update.
