gallery pics gone helppppp meeee

Can someone help me I wiped out all my pics in my gallery I am freaking out need help had a lot of valuable pics of my kids on there..

Would like to get you some help, but some additional info may be helpful. How did you wipe out the pix from gallery? Did it happen spontaneously?

One thing you could do is check to see if it is still on your SD card by mounting it to a computer. Pix that you took with your phone are stored under the DCIM > Camera folder. If it is still there then you have not lost them forever.

Make sure you dont write anything else to the SD card, if they are recoverable, you'll shoot yourself in the foot by adding files to the SD card.

Not that it helps, but you should always have a backup of your important photos. There are plenty of apps that automatically upload to Picasa and other services....

I was looking at them. When the phone just shut off rebooted and they were gone.thanx for the quick replys
