Galaxy S9 teardown

The following article shows the tear down of the s9. pretty interesting to see what is there and what is not. It was also interesting to find out that a good portion of the parts are modular and are independent of each other. It is disappointing that you have to take apart the phone in order to replace the screen. Also they claim you cannot take apart the phone without breaking something, making it harder for mom and pop stores to fix the screen for you.

I foresee them lowing prices substantially on the 9 and 9+. There just isn't enough "good new stuff" in there for me to justify the upgrade. The 8+ will do just fine for a long time.
