Multiple reports indicate that Samsung’s best phone yet is experiencing some troubling Wi-Fi issues. It’s not clear how widespread the matter is, but the Galaxy S7seems to behave erratically on Wi-Fi and users are complaining that certain features aren’t working as expected. The issue, which has been replicated by Motherboard on a test device, affects Gmail sync over Wi-Fi. The problem occurs only over Wi-Fi and does not affect Internet browsing. Switching Wi-Fi on and off seems to fix the problem, though Wi-Fi mail syncing once again fails relatively soon after that.
