The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge Qualcomm variants on the latest Nougat update now have a root method. This will work on the Verizon, T-mobile, AT&T, and Sprint versions, but their have been a few issues reported for those rooting the Sprint version so you will want to read up on the comments of the root thread for the Sprint variant before attempting root on your device. This will not trip Knox which is a plus and can be reversed simply by factory reseting your device and flashing stock Nougat.

This method is not the most stable. It requires flashing an engineered boot like root methods for the S7 in the past. Also once rooted you will lose the ability to use Samsung Pay. You will also need to install a kernel editor as your phone will lag severely unless you edit the governor on your kernel to On Demand so keep that in mind before getting started. If you are great at following directions this root method is not all that difficult. Head to the link below for downloads and instructions.
