There really is no need for a screen protector on phones these days. A protector won't stop your screen from shattering from a bad drop, and it really takes a lot to scratch the latest versions of gorilla glass. I've used just a case and no protector on my LG G4, G5 and Galaxy S8+ and don't have a scratch on any of them. I am also a kluts and drop my phone's constantly.
