Galaxy Nexus or Razar Maxx

Currently have the OG DROID and looking to upgrade to a new phone. Any suggestions on which one to get?

It would probably be beneficial if you said what was important in a smartphone to you. Both are excellent phones, but they suit different needs. There are also hundreds (literally) of threads discussing this exact topic.

What's beneficial to me in a smart phone is rooting and trying out different types of roms.

If that's the case then you should definitely not go Moto then. They've really locked down since the D1.

Have been reading that the Galaxy Nexus has some problems on some of the phones. Does rooting and flashing different roms fix any of the issues that the phone may have.DancingNexus
