G4 Sound Notification Question....

Just got the G4. Is there a way to turn off the sound notification for emails but leave it on for texts? I used to have that with my old S3 but all I can find in settings is all or none for all notifications.

If you use the gMail app, you can change notification to "silent" via settings within the app.

You gave me the idea of going into the actual email programs that I have and silence it from there. I was able to do that. Thanks.

In the S3 there was a way to silence it from the phone settings. But this works.
