Fuzzy sound

Help! When I'm in my phone everyone sounds "fuzzy". Any suggestions?

But its all the time. I sound fine to everyone, but they sound sort of fuzzy. Verizon had me pull the battery and called. They sounded fine then right after I made a call, it went back to the bad sound again. Should I have them send another phone? Its 7 months old..
