Full length shows on Youtube

The youtube app kinda blows chunks imho but here's a trick. Navigate to youtube on your pc and get a list of full-length shows (it's possible, just be determined). Now when you have the list you're interested in on your pc screen, email the link to yourself and open it on your droid.

For instance, here's a list of full length PBS Nova shows http://www.youtube.com/show?p=rJP5gzeyV8g&pl=6D3ED344F692B650

If you email that link to yourself you should be able to view those shows on your droid. What else can we get? Got any choice discoveries?

Why not just sign in on your YouTube account on your PC, add the videos you like to your "favorites" or Playlists .. then when you open the YouTube app on your Droid select Menu> My Account and those favorites and/or Playlists will be there waiting for you. No e-mailing of links required.

Welcome to the "all in one" world of Google :-)

when i go to my account on the droid i only have my main account and add account. it doesnt list the favs anywere? what am i missing?

thanks

edit:

got it. thanks

Well that does sound slick. What got me on to the email idea was this:

http://www.youtube.com/results?sear...es+episodes&search_type=&aq=1&oq=star+trek+or

If you cruise to that page on your pc you can watch full length star trek episodes, but on the droid you can't. Up until a few days ago youtube had links at the bottom of the screen for "desktop" or "mobile" and both of them prevented vids from being watched on droids. The mobile switch alerted youtube to prevent you from navigating to certain vids and desktop required flash player so that didn't work either. Their new system seems to do the same thing but it's slicker. Emailing the links is a way of bypassing youtube's blocking mobile users (why they would want to do that I do not know).

I'll try your favs idea though. Maybe I'm making it out to be harder than it is.

actually i added a fav it lists 1 fav but then when i click favs it says now videos :(

one video didnt show its vevo or whatever. but the next few are showing.

thanks for all the tips. this and the OP too.
