Froyo?

I'm sorry everyone, but can someone please explain to me what froyo is? I keep hearing all about this. I have a motorola droid, and have absolutely no idea what it is.

It will most likely be the next upgrade for the android operating system.
Go to the search bar and type it lots of articles on it. People that have rooted their droids are running a version of it now

Ah okay, thats why I was confused about it when I was reading it. I saw some people saying they were running it, and I was quite confused.

Any idea when it releases?
