Fresh Wipe - Insufficient Space?

Hi guys, I'm having some really weird issues with my Droid. I'm running the new Froyo release from DroidLife, and for some reason in the past few days it's decided that it won't let me download any new apps. I did a full wipe of both the cache and the data, and it still is telling me that I don't have enough space to download anything. What do I do? Right now I don't even have ROM manager, all I'm able to do in terms of major work is boot into clockwork.

im going to ask the obvious... is there space on your phone? hook up to your computer and go through the files. i recently did this, and deleted my old backups. they take up alot of space. about 300mb each.
