Freeing up memory

My internal memory is always filling up... usually no more than 12 percent free, now at nine. My whole card is free though. How do I free up my internal memory? Its bouncing messages!

Have you moved any apps from the phone to the SD card? Go to your settings/applications/manage applications/all applications and see if you can move some. If you can't then you should root so you can.
