Free wifi tether?

Hello all thinking of making a switch to a gs4 but wondering if there is and wifi tether for free or root only. Im coming from a droid bionic and desperately would like to move on

On a S4? I tried it this morning using the current version of FoxFi and couldn't get it to work.

Foxfi+PdaNet works for my Verizion GS4.
I paid $7 one time fee, its well worth money to spend on, not sure if it works for other carrier. If it doesnt work email developer within 7 day for a refund.

What carrier are you with? It definitely works with Verizon, but from what I understand, it doesn't work with Sprint.

I'm with Verizon.

I un-installed both FoxFi and PdaNet+ and then re-installed just FoxFi. Seems to be working OK now.

Try Portable Wifi (Google Play). It works fine on my S4 Verizon non rooted.
