Found this cool little android data tracking app. It promises to let you know when your data connection is restored if its lost , so the user does not have to constantly check to see when its back. I tried it and it seems like it works. I tried it by turning my data off and then like 10 min later turning it back on and sure enough 1 min later it beeped letting me know its back.
