'forward' in messaging ?

Is there a way to 'forward' a message rcvd ? thanks !

Long press the message you want to forward, then select forward from the option list that pops up.

That works but how do you edit some of the forwarded message, like remove just part of it

You should be able to do a long press on the message section itself and then edit the text.
