not sure exactly what it does, but enabling it supposedly allows your CPU to operate more efficiently using less battery power. however, i've noticed no difference whatsoever :D

sometimes enabling it can cause bugs with certain apps too, btw

I had it enabled ever since I got the phone. I disabled it and now apps thay didn't work properly now operate properly.

Will allow the phone to operate faster but some apps aren't written to take advantage so they will lock up or otherwise misbehave.

All scrolling on my Rezound was horrible until I enabled it...now all is well with the world :)

I usually keep it enabled, but like it was stated earlier; some apps may misbehave.

Ever since I rooted (running Gummy0.9.0), "Force GPU Rendering" seems to have negative effects, particularly with memory... When I have it enabled, I will have browser crashes quite often (2-10x/day), but when I have it disabled the crashes are far less common...

I also have yet to find the ideal "Auto Memory" settings via Rom Toolkit Pro, but Force GPU Rendering seems to hurt more than help at this point...?
