can you change Fonts on a Droid?

Hey,
As you may or may not know; I will be getting a Droid in a couple of days,
and I was wondering if you can change &/ add fonts on it?
example: Abstract Fonts - 13,026 Free Fonts

with rooting and a ROM, yes. idk about w/o rooting. handsent allows you to do it but thats only text messaging
