Hot on the heels of Preach2k's great Nexus 5 scoop from last night, we have some more pics of the LG-made Google Nexus 5. This time we actually have a couple of carrier branded Nexus 5 pics. These pics show off the Canadian carrier Telus. The shots only show off the front of the Nexus 5, but we aren't complaining. That's not all you can see in the pics though. We have a nice glimpse of what Android 4.4 KitKat might be like, and there are some notable changes.
For example, you can see the new launcher with a transparent status bar, which is likely to be renamed as "the Google Experience." It will be a transparent status bar. We can also see the navigation buttons are transparent too. We also see that some of the icons are a bit different. That's about all we can glean from these leaked shots for now.
As fast as the leaks (and hints directly from Google) keep coming, it seems very likely Google will announce the device soon. The only question we have now is when. Although we have some decent speculativeevidence that the device and next iteration of Android will be announced on October 28th, Google could surprise us and launch them early.
We will stay on top of it for you guys!
