Hey, so i dont know if i posted this in the correct place (sorry)
But I have been researching how to record the FM radio on my droid X for a while now, and it seems like it cant be done at all. I don't know java very well at all but i took a look on the developer reference for the MediaRecorder class and then at the AudioSource (uhh, nested?) class. Anyways, of course i saw no easy way to do this, but i did have an idea. It did say that you could use a mic, and so my question is about that.
Is it possible to, with a splitter, take the output of the radio, and somehow, without simply holding it up to the mic, push it back into the phone as if it were a microphone? I am aware that you can use a male-male cable and do this with your computer, so i dont see why it wouldn't be possible to do it with your phone, right?
Am i shooting blind or could this have a chance?
Thanks.
