Flext9 microphone does not show up in dictation application

I'm addicted to voice recognition. I purchased the Dragon flex T9 program with my droid 1. I now have a Driod X with it installed. I went into settings and checked it in the keyboard section. with my droid 1 that made the Dragon the microphone for dictation. However, I am still getting the android microphone. I like the Dragon program better.

Anyone have any ideas?

as it turned out, I didn't select enough of the settings required. Once I did, the Dragon keyboard and microphone came up. So far, I really enjoyed this droid X.
