Fleksy App question

When I spell a word wrong on purpose it corrects it and wont let me keep the word I want. Its frustrating. Any help on how to do this?

If you spell the word wrong. Don't hit the space bar. Press on the word it generates in the generated word right above the keyboard and save it. Or add it in the dictionary in language and input settings.
