Flashing And Restoring

So pretty soon I'm gonna root my Thunderbolt but I'm just curious about the process of flashing roms compared to the OG droid. Also about the process of restoring a backup while in a boot loop compared to the OG droid. Thanks

Unlike the DX it isn't much different for the TB, you still use ROM manager to flash clockworkmod, and you still get the same friendly clockworkmod user interface that we are all accustomed to. I'm not sure about how to enter recovery mode after pulling the battery, so I'd research that before you encounter that situation. I'm hoping I don't ever have to experience a boot loop, because it's a pain in the rear to take the battery cover off the TB.

I'm not interesting in installing ROMs on to my TB just yet, so I haven't taken the time to figure out how to enter recovery mode from a cold boot.

Hold the volume down and power button at the same time to enter hboot, then select recovery from the menu to access clockwork mod.
