We finally have a custom rom for the Verizon HTC One M8! This is also happens to be one of my favorite HTC roms by one of my favorite HTC rom development teams! The Viper Rom by Team Venom happens to be one of the most highly customizable roms available for HTC devices and now we have it for our HTC One M8. Support for the Verizon variant was added today, and you can now download and flash this rom. Some of the main features include Venom Tweaks, Venom Hub, Venom Sidebar, Sound Enhancer, Venom Pie, and more!
Venom Tweaks includes hundreds of customizations so you can make your device your own. With Venom tweaks you can tweak your status bar with different theming, adding device info like cpu frequency and Ram usage to your status bar, weather panel in your status bar and more, icon pack support, custom dock backgrounds, transparency options, lockscreen tweaks, custom lockscreen shortcuts and lockscreen notifications, button remapping, mods like blinking buttons or flashlight on incoming notifications, various kernel and cpu configurations, and more.
Venom Hub brings status bar themes, prism themes, keyboard skins, carrier and status bar logos, and more. Venom Hub is updated by many people and you will find something new pretty much every time you load it.
Venom Sidebar is Team Venom's attempt at multitasking. Id say it does a pretty good job! You can access system settings, recent apps, and favorite apps from the Side bar. You are able to customize this to fit your needs as well.
Audiphiles will be well pleased with the Sound Enhancer features which gives you plenty of sound options. Choose from sound effects and modify them by editing the existing Eq presets.
Venom Pie is Team Venom's version of the Pie controls which were made popular by Paranoid Android. There are plenty more features included with this Rom. Head to the source link below to find out more.
