Hey everyone,
I have Verizon as a carrier and the signal recpetion at my house is terrible. Can't hold a converstion without getting cut off. I just found out about the *228 trick but not too optimistic.

Is there a firmware upgrade that I need to update my phone with?
I currently have:
Andriod 2.2
Software 3.26.605.1

Not sure if firmware updates get pushed to the phone or I have to download them from a site?

If there is an update you should check for it through the settings.

If that doesn't work, use *228.

Is the Inc the only phone with cell reception problems or is your house a dead spot?

The Droid Incredible has a well known signal problem but I think it only shows incorrect signal. Dial *228 option 2 and your phone will reboot when complete.

Your software is the same as mine, but I have a great connection. I would definitely call *228. I understand you need to call *228 to optimize your local cell tower.
