Fingerprint Scanner compatibility can finally be built into 3rd party roms for the Galaxy S5 like CyanogenMod 13 thanks to the development work of developer "ljzyal". Right now this is only a work in progress. The fingerprint scanner capability is already built into the Mokee rom, and will be added to CM soon. For now once you add a fingerprint you won't be able to remove enrolled fingerprints. Doing so will cause your phone to reboot. This bug is currently being worked on.
