FDR on JB. Will I lose root?

From what I understand no. I rooted my X2 and FDR'd several times and never lost root.

from my spanking new Samsung Note 2

No you will not. You will have to reinstall super user though.

Just thought I'd update this old thread. I just did a FDR (3x in a row). I did not lose root. Apps which required root, were still asking me for Admin access and I still had to click "Grant". Does SuperUser ask this question or is it something else? If that's the case, I'm thinking Superuser installed itself after the FDR, although I couldn't find it in my App drawer. I actually use SuperSU. Is that the same thing as Super User? I see there is a different app called Super User.

I had to do an FDR quite recently. I had to reauthorize apps to use root but didn't lose root itself.
