"Favorites" page disapperaed

The first screen to the right of the main menu was "Favorites", the one with frequently called numbers . ..  It's gone and now there is just a blank screen.  How do I get it back?  I don't see a gadget or app for it. VZW is of no help.

Long press. Addwidget people. Then select favorites
