"Failed to connect to forum"

This is of course referring to the DroidForums app. While I can log in and browse I appear unable to do anything beyond that from the app. Can clearly do so from the computer, but just not the app.

Is the app broken? I know it's based on Tapatalk and all.

I usually get that when I forget to turn on my data or I lose my data signal. This was posted using the app so it's working for me.

I'm on WiFi so I know that's not it. And again I can browse around all I care to. I simply can't post.

I noticed after the fact that it did actually post what I wrote but choked when trying to upload images. It also won't load any images on any posts I view. So it's got something to do with images specifically.

I'm on wifi too but I haven't tried to post a pic. Let me give it a shot. Here's my dog. She has such a rough life.

Which means it's either ICS or the Nexus that's at fault. Definitely a downer. Oh well.

If the rest of your apps are running fine then the problem might be with the app. Try this...uninstall the app then clean your phone's cache. After that do a battery pull and then reinstall the app. Let us know if that works.

Force stop the app and re open it.

If the uninstall/reinstall does not do it then try rebooting and see if that helps. That may help it reconnect.

Sorry for the late response, been busy with work.

So I am now accessing the forums with the app 1 more time to do this message using the voice to text. First I will try to do a normal posting with no photo attached. Then I will see if I can do a follow up posting with a photo attached.

EDIT: so the standard posting seem to go through without a problem. Now to try to post a photo.
EDIT2: so I can post a standard posting but no photo. It says:

"You may not have permission to do this action."

Then it says

"Failed to connect to forum, please check with the forum administrator if this problem persists."

This is a small 18k file I was using to test whether I can post photos.

This is after multiple reboots, battery discharge/recharge, battery pull, app manual end, app reload, etc. Nothing. Just won't go. I can view photos just not post them.
