Factory reset with rooted thunderbolt

I've tried searching but couldn't really find anything pertaining to the tbolt directly. i got a new phone so i want to sell my tbolt with it being rooted (revolutionary) can i do a factory reset with the phone being rooted and have it still work fine? all i want to do is wipe the phone of my info from the buyer. if a factory reset won't work and there is a different way, thats fine with me. thanks.

Doing a data wipe in clockwork would, yes. It'll basically refresh the phone back to the intial state of your current ROM. It WON'T un-root and turn S-ON.
