Factory Reset question

Been having multiple problems last couple of months. Apps freezing, camera locking up phone, phone turning off while charging, have to pull battery to turn phone off, sd card corruption, new sd card has problems like stuck in "checking for errors" and won't mount..reformatted the new sd card..now I get messages in notifications about Motorola service acct deleated, wrong user name or password for facebook and photobucket. Accounts still seem to work as well as calls.
So I'm about to do a factory reset. Im rooted with Z4Root and have titanium backup. Do I need to unroot first? Is this gonna affect anything on my sd card? What else should I be aware of and thanks im advance.
