Hey guys,
I am running stock rom on my droid x and a did a little bit of theming with metamorph. If I go into the droid recovery and woe data and cache will that take me back to stock froyo (i'm really hoping so)

Thanks.

I would enjoy getting the OTA gingerbread without SBFing. Can't I just unroot with z4 root? (Safe?)

What about unrooting with z4 root? I rooted with z4 root. Is it safe enough with a themed phone using metamorph on stock rom?

if you did nothing else with root (like ROMs, bootstrap, themes, etc) then z4root will unroot. if you did any of the aforementioned things, you should sbf.

I agree with sonicfreak. Ur gonna have to sbf it. Plus the don't get the ota GB .596 it still has bugs. I recommend installing GB .588 never had a problem with that. Plus from what I read when u do the ota GB. 596 it wont let u root ur phone again do to an encryption that doesn't allow rooting. But u can get a rooted GB. 596 on this site just follow the instructions TO THE T.
