I think the main improvement in notifications is that picking one won't redirect you to the website.

Yeah my old BB Bold you were able to tag photos.. you were notified of comments.. so on and so forth..

I've used the iphone app in store (i worked for att) it was pretty slick.. they are WAY behind for android IMO..

only time i use FB on my droid is when i literally have no other choice.. maybe this update will be a bit better.

This app is so much better now that you can get to your notification without being redirected to the site. Places is also added which is pretty cool.

I've always hated the whole places and geotagging thing, but they might finally rope me in with the discounts. I hate that it's nothing more than a bundle of advertising data for them, but hell, if the discounts are high enough I'll bite. The improved groups function is probably the best part -- being able to post updates solely to my family is a great feature. It's funny that all of these new features encourage users to give up more details about themselves while everyone continues to moan about privacy issues hehe.
