Facebook opening on it's own

When I leave my phone to charge overnight, when I check it in the morning (or sometimes, if I don't use my phone for a few hours during the day) when I unlock it, the Facebook app will be open. I never use this app. I don't even have it set up. I'm not sure why it's opening.

Anyone see anything similar to this?

I think it's safe to say your phone is suffering from Zuckerbergism. The only cure would be to download Google+ to combat the Facebook head on.

But being serious, I know you don't use Facebook but go to your application settings and try clearing the data, don't know if that will fix it, but it's worth a shot. If that doesn't work, are you rooted?

No rooting here and I've cleared the data. And done a force close. It's happened after those have been done. Shall I bring it to the Google HQ to have it exorcised of the Zuck?

I was thinking of uninstalling the updates since I don't use the app anyways. I actually wish I could get rid completely of the darned thing! heh heh
