I ended up just deleting my facebook account from the phone to avoid the clutter in my contact list with those "friends," but i do miss the profile pictures.

Is it possible to only have the contacts that are already on your phone sync with facebook?

If you just want the profile pictures download syncmypix app. It will sync contacts with your Facebook account, but only if the names are fairly close to each other. Hope this helps!
