Facebook contact issues

New droid x user here. I downloaded the facebook app and now all my FB friends are in my contact list. I don't want them there. I've read where you can remove them by hitting the menu button in FB. This is where I fail. I don't see and can't find this menu button. Please excuse my noobness and offer assistance.

The menu button is the far left physical key: 4 little boxes. Click to unsync contacts.
