Ext. battery and Car Charger questions- Droid X

I have the Droid X.
- Do the ext. batteries really add significant extra run time?
- Are the OEM battrries better than the aftermarket ones?
- Why do the various batteries have different Amh values? What does that mean?
- Is there any advantage to getting the OEM car charger vs. the cheapos?
Thanks!

1. Depends on which one you buy. See #3
2. Probably.
3. mAh (miliamp hours)is the capacity of the battery.
4. Cheap knockoffs may not have overcharge protection circuitry. I wouldn't chance it.

You're probably going to have the phone for a year or more. Don't buy cheap parts that are "essential". Geta cheapo headset, case, car mount. There's a reason some things are so much less.
