Exchange sync issues

I have a Droid Bionic with Android version 2.3.4 and system version 5.9.905 on Verizon. At some point my phone and Exchange 2003 have stopped syncing contacts and my calendar correctly.

I can create a contact on my phone and it will sync back the Exchange without a problem. However, if I create a contact in Exchange it will not sync to my phone.

The calendar works just the opposite. I can sync from exchange to my phone but not from the phone to exchange.

This all worked correctly at some point but has stopped. i just don't know when exactly it happened as I normally add calendar appointments in exchange and don't add contacts very often to either.

This is a business phone so it is very important to me that contacts and the calendar syncs correctly.

this happened to me as well i had to delete my email account and set it back up
