"Enable Always-On Mobile Data"

What does it do?
If I uncheck the box, will I gain battery life?
What am I sacrificing by unchecking the box?

It lets apps use data anytime, just turn it off. You will definitely notice an increase in battery life

If you stream anything like Pandora or sirius mobile then not having it enabled will shut your data down after a few minutes. When I first got my inc. I disabled it but hated sirius always shutting down
