Email Stopped Working???

Ok guys,

I have had my Droid for about a month now and everything has been working awesome. I just got back yesterday from an out of state trip and all of the sudden I can no longer recieve email from my work server. I can send emails with no problem but recieve. When I go into settings and check my incoming settings, check out the domain name/password/and server then hit the next button the phone locks up and it will take about 3-4 minutes then give me a force close option. It actually says, Sorry activity (in application Email) is not responding. then gives me the Force close or wait.

Any ideas?? Can I do an easy soft reboot to maybe take care of it?

No one should use the stock "Email" app. Use k9. Also, don't use a task killer.

I'd start with turning off wifi if it's on and a simple reboot of the phone. For some reason I have a hard time connecting to my isp email with wifi on sometimes.

I was having wifi/email problems with 2.01 but not anymore under 2.1

Perhaps try smtp port 587 if email not sending when on wifi.
