email problem

hey guys. just got the droid x couple days ago. ive been receiving my emails really slowly. is there a way to get the emails in real time instead of me having to refresh? thanks

Are you using the stock email client? I don't know about on the droid x, but on the droid the stock client is garbage. Use K9 from the market. Set polling frequency to 1 minute.

Don't kill tasks.

I just got mine today and in playing with it I saw something in the settings about either checking for messages at a specified interval or having them pushed to your phone. My battery is dead right now (HA! I activated it at noon) so I can't tell the exact steps but it's in settings somewhere.
